Mushroom coffee is ordinary coffee with functional mushroom extracts mixed in. Ours is FungaPower’s Complete Mushroom Complex Coffee, an instant coffee with Lion’s Mane, Chaga, Reishi, Turkey Tail and Cordyceps. There’s no CBD in it.
You make it just like any instant: a spoonful in a mug, hot water, milk if you want it. Follow the serving size on the pack and don’t go over it. It still contains caffeine, so bear that in mind later in the day.
No health claims are authorised for these mushrooms in the UK, so we won’t make any. If you’d like to know more about each one, read our mushroom guide. You can also browse our mushroom capsules and powders.
If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding or take medication, check with your GP or pharmacist first.
Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
There’s no good evidence that it does. If it replaces a sugary coffee-shop drink, that might help a bit, but that’s about the drink you’re swapping out, not the mushrooms.
It’s coffee blended with mushroom extracts, like Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps or Turkey Tail, and it usually has less caffeine than normal coffee. The research on the mushrooms is still going, so we don’t make health claims. Think of it as an alternative to your usual coffee.
It’s most likely the caffeine, or your stomach not agreeing with the mushroom extract. Some mushrooms, like Chaga and Reishi, can also interact with medication. Stop drinking it if you feel unwell, and speak to your GP or pharmacist if you’re on any medicines.
It’s FungaPower’s blend of five mushroom extracts: Lion’s Mane, Chaga, Cordyceps, Turkey Tail and Reishi. We sell it as Complete Mushroom Complex Coffee, an instant coffee you make like any other.
No. Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Turkey Tail and the rest are sold as food supplements, not medicines, and research on them is still early. If you take medication or have a health condition, ask your GP first.
Lots of people take mushrooms like Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Chaga and Turkey Tail as part of their daily routine. They’re food supplements, not medicines, and they shouldn’t replace a varied, balanced diet.
The ones we sell (Lion’s Mane, Turkey Tail, Reishi and so on) aren’t psychoactive and aren’t known to be addictive. Just stick to the daily amount on the pack.
No. Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps and Turkey Tail aren’t psychedelic at all.
