CBD oil or hemp seed oil?
Don’t confuse the two. CBD oil contains cannabidiol extracted from the plant, while hemp seed oil is pressed from the seeds and has little or no CBD. Each product page says which it is.
How to give it
Follow the directions on the bottle and your vet’s advice. Most owners drop it onto food or a treat; some give it straight into the mouth. Start with the smallest amount on the label and keep track. If you’d rather not use a dropper, see our CBD treats for dogs.

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) treats CBD products for animals as veterinary medicines in the UK, so check with your vet first, especially if your pet is unwell, on medication, pregnant or very young. Never give a pet CBD that was made for people.
