It all started in 2019.
I was dealing with a painful gout flare-up and looking for a natural way to manage it. Like many others, I had heard about CBD—but when I visited a well-known health shop to ask questions, no one could give me a clear answer. I left feeling confused and disappointed.
Later that year, I found myself in another store, hoping for a better experience. But this time, the environment felt unwelcoming and cold. I didn’t feel seen or heard—and certainly not helped.
That was the turning point.
With years of retail experience and a strong desire to create change, I decided to do things differently. I envisioned a space where people felt safe, valued, and informed—a space where natural wellness wasn’t confusing or exclusive, but empowering and accessible to all.
So we got to work.
We trained a small but passionate team, built a reliable supply chain, and focused on education as much as product quality. In March 2020, we proudly opened our very first Cannapower shop in London.
Two weeks later, the UK went into lockdown due to COVID-19.
Then came Brexit, which disrupted our supply chain even further. We had no staff, limited stock, and a closed shop—but we had purpose, and we weren’t giving up.
We used that time to regroup, re-strategise, and rebuild. By 2022, we had partnered with trusted UK-based manufacturers and began producing our very own line of premium wellness products.
By the end of 2023, Cannapower had grown into four warm, family-friendly shops across London. Each location is run by a knowledgeable, passionate team committed to helping customers feel better, move better, and live better—naturally.
Whether you’re brand new to CBD or looking to deepen your wellness routine, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. No judgment. No confusion. Just honesty, care, and quality you can trust.
This is more than a store. This is a space where wellness meets community.
